Marina Segreve
Marina Segreve is a junior at Virginia Tech majoring in Public Health and minoring in Biodiversity Conservation. Marina is a student leader for Sisters Project Peru and is proud to be a founding member of the Virginia Tech chapter alongside Chris, Maya, and Jason. Marina got involved with SPP through fellow student leader Maya Wingold, who approached her about helping to start the Virginia Tech chapter after her own trip to Peru.
On campus, Marina works at the Center for the Arts as a member of patron services, and also serves as a Center ambassador. Marina is passionate about global health and building community-based approaches to reducing health disparities, and hopes to work both locally and internationally on community health initiatives like SPP.
When she’s not working on SPP or at her job, Marina can be found reading, writing, playing music, or hanging out with her cats.
