Aleeza Mirza, from New Jersey, is a second-year student at Columbia University pursuing a double major in Biology and Film with plans to pursue a career in dentistry. She serves on the executive board of Columbia's Pre-Dental Society, where she helps organize events, coordinate outreach initiatives, and connect students with opportunities to learn more about dentistry and healthcare careers. She has volunteered at Give Kids a Smile events and MOM-n-PA dental clinics, assisting with the delivery of dental care and education to underserved communities. She also volunteers at a long-term care facility, where she has spent the past three years building meaningful relationships with residents and supporting patient-centered care. Through her experiences in healthcare and community service, she has developed a strong commitment to improving access to preventative care and health education.
