Jessica You
Jessica You is from northern Virginia and earned her BA in Economics and Global Public Health with a minor in Data Analytics from the University of Virginia in 2024. She currently attends the UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health where she is studying epidemiology and works as a research assistant. She joined SPP during her time at UVA and helped with community engagement, art auctions, and finances. Now, she aims to use her data and public health skills to further the development of SPP and its ability to help the Huacahuasi community. In her free time, she loves to read, watch Marvel movies, and go to concerts.

Jason Anderson
Jason Anderson is currently a freshman at Virginia Tech, planning on studying business. He is working to establish a Virginia Tech SPP chapter for next school year. In addition to his academic pursuits, he is also a member of the university’s Outdoor Club. Through different experiences from international trips to Europe, Africa, and South America he gained great appreciation for the diversity of cultures around the globe. His enjoyment of the outdoors and travel, in addition to a strong passion for helping others, Sisters Project Peru has been a source of fulfillment and importance to Jason during his past few years of involvement in the organization. Jason is very grateful for the opportunities that this organization has provided and looking forward to the growth in its impact in Huacahuasi. He also loves playing guitar, listening to music, playing with his dog, and hanging out with friends and family.

Anna Tubbs
Anna Tubbs is a third year student at Virginia Commonwealth University. She is an exercise science major with a pre-physical therapy minor and plans to apply to physical therapy school after undergrad. She attended the Sisters Project Peru trip in the summer of 2024 and is working on getting some things started for the sisters project at VCU.
