June-December 2020
The idea for SPP is born in June. Six months later, we become a non-profit under FNE International.
What have we been up to since the start of our project in 2020?
August 2023
We meet with the Peruvian Ministry of Health to share our survey findings and discuss plans for a clinic in Huacahuasi.
Month 2024
We receive a written agreement from the Ministry of Health indicating that the clinic will be adopted into the Peruvian healthcare system.
May 2021
We conduct a demographic survey of 250 families in Huacahuasi to better understand their healthcare needs.
August 2024
On site in Huacahuasi, we provide anemia education and testing, start construction on two community greenhouses, and distribute dental hygiene supplies.
